Chris Christensen 003 7.5 in. F/XC Greyhound-Style Butter Comb, Groom Like a Professional, Rounded Corners Prevent Friction and Breakage, Solid Brass Spin with Steel Teeth, Chrome Finish.

• CHRIS CHRISTENSEN COMB – a robust Greyhound-style comb for heavier coats. The wide coarse spacing of the teeth allows the comb to penetrate dense coats easily, providing easy movement through the coat. Prefect for breeds with thick, rough coarse coats, heavy shedding double coats, and extra, tight curly coats. The 003 Buttercomb measures 7.5” in length and features 0.7” extra coarse and fine teeth.
• DESHEDS & DETANGLES – ideal for both these arduous grooming tasks, the 003 Buttercomb is the first step in removing heavily impacted, shedding hair. The coarse, widely spaced teeth are adept at gently loosening trapped undercoat. The rounded tips ensure comfort against the skin. The generous spacing minimizes hair pulling when tackling deep tangles. After initial use, the finer-toothed side can be used to thoroughly refine and detangle the coat.
• TRUSTED BY PROFESSIONALS – this professional tool is used extensively as a detangling and deshedding comb by professional groomers. It is essential for managing coats of working and herding breeds such as the Black Russian Terrier, Arctic breeds such as the Siberian Husky, and double coated breeds such as the Pomeranian. It’s lightweight but solid, durable for daily salon use even on these heavy coats, and will outlast any other comb.
• BUILT TO LAST – Chris Christensen Buttercombs are handcrafted to the finest detail. Each pin is ground with a rounded tip to reduce friction, prevent coat breakage, and provide a seamless movement through the coat. All Buttercombs have a solid brass core with a flat spine, stainless steel teeth, and are coated with a high-quality nickel chrome finish. The 7.5” Extra Coarse/Fine Buttercomb is item #003 in the Chris Christensen catalog.
